[NEWS] T-ara’s “Lovey Dovey” was B2ST member Junhyung’s idea?

Talented B2ST member Junhyung, well known among K-pop fans for his songwriting skills, was revealed to have played a role in the creation of T-ara‘s hit, “Lovey Dovey“.
On the upcoming May 6th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘K-pop Star Captivating the World‘, Hallyu group B2ST’s road to stardom will be featured.
In the episode on B2ST, top K-pop producer, Shinsadong Tiger, also makes an appearance. Known for his hits with B2ST such as “Breath“, “Shock“, “Fiction“, and more, the producer is one of the figures who introduced Junhyung to the world of music composition.
Junhyung commented, “I follow and trust Shinsadong Tiger like an older brother. Anytime we don’t have a schedule lined up, I visit him at his recording studio.” Shinsadong Tiger himself sang the praises of Junhyung, stating, “Yong Junhyung gives me a lot of suggestions on song titles and other ideas. T-ara’s ‘Lovey Dovey’ was actually Yong Junhyung’s idea.”

[NEWS] BEAST Releases "Fiction and Fact" Album Today!!!

I'M GETTING CRAZY.... SOOOOO CRAZY TODAY 4 DIS WONDERFUL NEWS!!!

It is finally here! The “it” in question, of course, is Beast‘s 1st full-length album entitled, Fiction and Fact. Today is the 17th, (in Korea anyways) and the Beast-ly boys’ new comeback album has been officially released.

Fans will be pleased to hear that the album contains 10 songs, and 8 of them are new. The other 2 are made up of an orchestral version of the title song, and an acoustic version of their previous song, Lightless. The title track for the album is the emotional ballad: Fiction. Other notable tracks on the album are the smooth ballad Rainy Days, along with the uptempo song, Freeze, which was composed by Beast’s own Junhyung!

B2ST’s Yoseob tweets about recording for their new album

B2ST’s Yoseob recently reported to his fans the progress B2ST is making on their new music album.

On April 23rd, the idol tweeted, “We started recording for B2ST’s title song. I hope you all get nervous and anticipate for this. It’s really big. Anyways, B2ST members really like snacking“.

He then uploaded this exclusive picture, which revealed the B2ST members taking a break in the recording room. On the table in front of them are various snacks and drinks.

Netizens commented, “I’m curious. I want to see them soon”, “I’m anticipating for the title song”, “While everyone is resting, I see Junhyung who is concentrating on something.”

Meanwhile, B2ST is set to perform at ‘Super Triple Concert‘ with December and IU at Busan’s BEXCO on April 30th.

Why Suju Siwon always stands in the center? Leeteuk explained it

On February 1st, Super Junior’s Lee Teuk guested on SBS’s “Strong Heart” and revealed the secrets behind how each member is positioned.

He explained that member Siwon was in centre for a very important reason. “When Siwon stands in the center, it gives the illusion that all Super Junior members look handsome.”

MC Kang Ho Dong then asked Shindong whether he’d like to stand center, to which he replied, “When I saw Jung Won Kwan of ‘Fire Truck,’ I realized that first impressions are very important. If I stood in the center, Super Junior would just turn into a ‘fat group.’”

Lee Teuk added, “The center isn’t always the best position though. In album jacket photos, because we have 13 members, the center stands where the jacket folds. Centers are positioned well in groups with only five to six members, but not in big groups like us.”

Doojoon, the leader of six member group B2ST, gave his own opinion by expressing, “Our choreographer positions us so that such concerns don’t arise. In our choreography, we stand in a circle without any center, so that every mother could spot their son.”

[NEWS] B2ST Maknae Dongwoon was accepted in Konkuk University

Earlier, we announced that B2ST’s maknae Son Dongwoon was accepted in Konkuk University as an image and film major. Now it’s been revealed that he’ll be joined by actor Lee Jong Suk (22), who is also aiming for a film degree.

According to Lee Jong Suk’s agency on the 31st, he took his qualification exams back in November and received news of his acceptance. Despite the tough competition for the department, he was able to surpass others during the regular application period.

A representative of the agency said, “Lee Jong Suk who has a passion for acting like no other, has prepared himself through his activities. He’ll take intense film-related courses.”

It was also revealed by his ageny that the star has been receiving endless phone calls of congratulations for his acceptance into Konkuk University since the news went public.

Lee Jong Suk garnered everyone’s attention by playing the role of genius composer ‘Sun’ in the recently-ended drama, “Secret Garden.” He is currently looking over scripts for his next role.

Yoon Doo Joon

• Birth name: Yoon Doo Joon (Hangul: 윤두준)
• Date of birth: July 4, 1989 (age 21)
• Position: Leader, Vocalist, Rapper

Doo Joon is the leader of BEAST. He was a trainee from JYP Entertainment. He was featured in the Mnet documentary Yeolhyeolnama(Korean: 열혈남아, Hot Blooded Men) with 2AM and 2PM but was eliminated. He was then transferred to JYP Entertainment's sister company, Cube Entertainment. Before his debut with BEAST, he auditioned for High Kick Through the Roof and was offered a role in the sitcom but turned it down to focus on his music career. He became a member of reality-variety series Danbi, a segment part of MBC'sSunday Sunday Night line-up. It ended with the last broadcast on August 15, 2010.

Doo Joon was featured in AJ's music video for "Nunmureul Dakko" (Korean: "눈물을 닦고", "Wipe the Tears") as a rapper along with Jun Hyung before they debuted as part of BEAST. He was also a rapper for Gavy NJ's song "Sun Flower".

As Girls' Generation member Taeyeon will be leaving MBC Radio FM4U 91.9Mhz ‘Chin Chin Radio’ , he was chosen as the temporary DJs for two weeks together with solo singer IU. Doo Joon was featured for G.Na's album title song ‘I’ll Back Off So You Can Live Better’ music video along with the other Beast member, Jun Hyung.

Doojoon, Kikwang and IU appeared as special hosts on Music Core on August 21, 2010. DooJoon was selected to appear in the new MBC daily sitcom ‘All My Love.

Hyun Seung first received media attention as a trainee under YG Entertainment with nickname So-1, when he was preparing to debut as a member of Big Bang. He appeared in 10 out of 11 episodes of the Big Bang Documentary, but wasn't chosen to be a part of the final group formation by YG's president. He received a lot of concerns from Cube's management when BEAST was being formed, as the first thing the members were instructed to do was to have Hyun Seung gain weight. Yong Jun Hyung

Before debuting as a member of BEAST, Jun Hyung was first a member of XING, known by his stage name as Poppin' Dragon. He is noted to have unusual hairstyles. Jun Hyung was also featured in fellow member's AJ's music video "눈물을 닦고" ("Wiping the Tears") as a rapper with Doo Joon. Along with fellow BEAST member Yo Seob, MC and comedian Lee Hyukjae, Moon Hee Jun (formerly of H.O.T.) and Kim Sook, they welcomed Japanese tourists for "Visit Seoul 2010" campaign, where Korean celebrities and Japanese tourists exploreSeoul in MBC's Star Guide Doshiraku to raise awareness of Seoul's famous areas as well as its delicious cuisine.

Yo Seob is the main vocalist of BEAST. Noted to be the "cute" member of BEAST, his various hairstyles have received much attention, being compared to that of a Fairy Pitta and a Shih Tzu among other things. Yo Seob was a former JYP Entertainment trainee. He moved agencies, to M Boat Entertainment (a former sister company of YG Entertainment) then to Cube Entertainment. He was also known for his self-created videos and parodies. He was a backup dancer for AJ's music video "눈물을 닦고" ("Wiping the Tears") and "Dancing Shoes".

Along with fellow BEAST member Jun Hyung, MC Lee Hyukjae, Moon Hee Jun (formerly of H.O.T.) and Kim Sook, Yo Seob welcomed Japanese tourists for "Visit Seoul 2010" campaign, where Korean celebrities and Japanese tourists explored Seoul in MBC's Star Guide Doshiraku to raise awareness of Seoul's famous areas as well as its delicious cuisine. Ki Kwang was initially a trainee under JYP Entertainment. He later transferred to sister entertainment company, Cube Entertainmentwhere he originally debuted as a solo singer by the stagename, "AJ". Cube Entertainment then decided to have him join BEAST where he redebuted under his given name. He is known as SaeHo in MBC High Kick Through the Roof, and was selected as MC for MBC's Sunday Sunday Night segment Hot Brothers. Lee Kikwang was chosen as the new MC for the KBS show 'Win Win'.

Gi Kwang is featured in K.Will's music video for the song, Present. He was also chosen as the model for the ‘Ice Tea Tio’ from DongSuh Foods. Lee Kikwang will be featuring in Ahn Jinkyung’s title song ‘Love is Pathetic’ off of her second mini album ‘BE THE VOICE’ this will be his first project that he will be rapping in. Doojoon, Kikwang and IU appeared as special hosts on Music Core on August 21, 2010. KiKwang will be doing CF filming of LG Tromm cf with model Lee Nayoung.

Son Dong Woon

• Birth name: Son Dong Woon (Hangul: 손동운)
• Date of birth: June 6, 1991 (age 19)
• Position: Vocalist, Rapper

Dong Woon was a trainee from JYP Entertainment and was the last member chosen to join BEAST and is also the maknae (youngest) of the group. He is known for having a "Western" look, which makes him stand out from the rest of his group members. Fans often make jokes about Dong Woon, saying that Nichkhun of 2PM looks more Korean than him (Nickhun is Thai). Dong Woon's nickname is 16D, as he is known for having a "16 dimensional" personality. He went to school at Hanyoung Foreign Language High School. Dong Woon is able to play piano and the electric flute, and can speak Chinese.
