MBLAQ PROFILE

MBLAQ, (In Hangul, 엠블랙, an acronym for Music Boys Live in Absolute Quality) is a South Korean quintet boy band created by Korean pop R&B singer, producer and actor Rain under his label J.Tune Entertainment.

The five members include:

*Seung Ho (Yang Seung Ho : Leader),

Yang Seung Ho (born October 16, 1987) is member of South Korean boy band MBLAQ.

Jang Goon (born November 6, 1987), professionally known as G.O, is main vocalist of South Korean boy band MBLAQ. He is former member of South Korean group TYKEYS.

Thunder (born October 7, 1990) is rapper of South Korean group MBLAQ. He is little brother of singer Sandara Park.

Bang Cheol Yong (born March 10, 1991), professionally known as Mir, is rapper of South Korean boy band MBLAQ. He is brother of actress Go Eun Ah.

The group debuted in October 9, 2009 at Rain's Legend of Rainism concert.

On October 14, 2009 the group released their debut single album, "Just BLAQ", which topped various on-line and off-line music charts in South Korea. The group then released their second single album Y on May 19, 2010, a track originally for Rain himself. Rain wrote, composed, produced and choreographed Y.

• Featured in the OST of the Korean drama Fugitive (Korean: 도망자), singing the main theme titled Running & Running
• MBLAQ are to participate in the recording of the OST of a 3D animated movie based on the popular Korean drama Full House. The animated movie is set for release in Korea and Japan in November 2010.

• Hoody H feat. Seung Ho - One. The digital single was released on September 7, 2010.

G.O

• Had a duet with J.Ae for Even if we can't speak of the end (2010)
• A digital single titled O-IWI-O was released on September 3, 2010. The single, produced by E-Tribe, is a collaboration with Nassun, and is a reply to Girls' Generation's Gee. An MV teaser was released prior to the full MV's release at midnight on September 3.
• G.O has taken part in recording a theme song, titled Let's Go, for the 2010 G20 Seoul Summit which was released in both Korean and English.
• Following G.O's collaboration with Nassun, another digital single titled ONE, will feature G.O and is set for release on the 15th of September, 2010.
