Super Junior fans wait for chance to see idols !

- THOUSANDS of fans lined up outside the World Expo site from early yesterday to get a ticket to see Super Junior, a South Korean singing group, perform at the Expo Culture Center last night.

- Some fans even began their wait at about 11pm on Saturday, hoping to get a glimpse of their ido...ls.
The crowds mainly gathered at the entrances on Changqing Road, Shangnan Road and Gaoke Road W., which are closer to the performance venue than other entrances.
Their enthusiasm surprised security guards who hadn’t seen anything like it, not even on the eve of opening day on May 1.

- Several girls from Beijing said they flew to Shanghai on Saturday morning. After they rushed to buy Expo tickets for the following day, they returned to queue outside the Expo site.

- Tickets for the concert, which also features other South Korean stars, were not for sale. People had to show their Expo tickets to get a concert ticket.
With half the tickets reserved for South Korean groups, only 2,500 tickets were available but at least 5,000 ordinary visitors were in the queue in front of the Expo Culture Center.

- Some fans who stood in lines overnight said it was worth the wait as they only needed to buy an Expo ticket to see Super Junior, a ticket which would usually have cost them several hundred yuan or more. The group’s China appearance was also a fairly rare event.

- Tickets had been snatched up within five minutes, and some unlucky fans moved to the South Korea Pavilion, hoping the group would appear there.

- By around 3pm yesterday, the roads leading to the Expo Culture Center were blocked by fans and armed police had to be dispatched to keep order.

Heechul said “I know Shindong(public proposal) said that there is a girl that he likes, it’s very suave and by right I should clap for him, but after thinking it through I thought that he was really suave that he even wrote her name down!” responding to Shindong’s positive attitude towards the strategy he approach for his love with a smile.

Regarding “who will sing the wedding song”, Yesung answered jokingly that “If Shindong gets married, he’ll sing ‘Love Really Hurts’,”. The members say “we should all give him our blessings sincerely but we’re not sure if all members will be attending the wedding ceremony or not”. By playing a joke on Shindong who felt nervous in his heart has shown us the childish side of Super Junior.

Super Junior Leeteuk has revealed a story that he experienced when he was promoting overseas.

During the recent filming of MBC "Yoo Jaesuk Kim Wonhee's Come to Play,' Super Junior Heechul, Leeteuk, Shindong, Donghae, Kyuhyun and Wonder Girls appeared in the 'idols who promoted national prestige' special.

[NEWS] Super Junior "Sorry Sorry's Success, was a BIg Burden" Comeback Interview as a Group of 10 People

Super Junior's leader Leeteuk has revealed his feeling about coming back as a group 10 people after 1 year and 2 months.

Leeteuk met with the Newsen reporter after the pre-recording of KBS 2TV 'Music Bank' which is filmed live on May 14th held at Seoul Yeoyido New Open Hall. He said, "Truthfully it's burdensome getting up on the stage as a group of 10 people instead of a group of 13 people.

Super Junior's 4th album activity is led by 10 people excluding Hankyung who is currently in a lawsuit with the management company, Kibum who is focusing on his acting career and Kangin who is waiting to enter into the army. Leeteuk said, "It was awkward at first having empty space on the stage.

"Super Junior has received huge popularity with their 3rd album Sorry Sorry. Hence, it is natural for people to have expectations about the next album. Leeteuk revealed that, "after Sorry Sorry has done well, the expectations have gotten bigger" and "it was actually burdensome.

"However, Super Junior has chosen to look at higher future instead of settling in the present. Leeteuk said, "Currently the 4th album pre-order sales are 200000" smiling brightly. This is a bigger number than the third album which was released in 2009.

Leeteuk said, "we will show the skate dance in Miinah" hinting that the first part will remind people of short track and speed staking and the next part is "similar to the hand work in 'Danse macabre' from Kim Yuna.

Meanwhile, Super Junior will start their activity with 'Music Bank' on the 14th and will appear in music programs one after another.

After the release of the 4th Album, we do not know what is going to happen. As all of you would know, Han Geng is terminating his contract with SM, Kang-In may still not be coming back, Ki-Bum is concentrating on his acting, and also, Lee-Teuk and Hee-Chul have met the time to get into the army. And followed by that, all Super Junior members will also have to get into the army consecutively (for about 2 years), which means we are not sure if there is another Album.

The best-case scenario will be the continuation of SJ sub-groups, but SJ is now facing the “5-Year-Curse” of Korean male groups because they are celebrating the 5th Anniversary in 2010. Rules of Korean annual Album sales chart:

(1) The chart is based on the sales at Korean domestics CD storesOnly those albums purchased from Korean local stores will be counted.[That means you cannot purchase them through CD stores in your country (YesAsia is not counted!!) It is because they get the albums directly from SME, which do not go through any Korean domestic music stores.]

(2) The chart only reflects the sales of Korean Version A albums.Taiwanese version, Japanese version, Hong Kong version, Pirated version, B/C/D version, they are all not counted.[Korean Version A album is the key of SJ’s success, so we must support, and buy as much as you can. And for versions of your country, they are used to fight for their coming to your country. So you can buy that too, buy both versions!!Suggestion: Get Korean Version A through Korean music stores, and get the other versions in your country’s music stores.]

(3) Keep your receiptAs long as you have a receipt for the Korean Versions, they are all reflected on the sales chart. If there is anything wrong with the chart, we can show the officials that we have really purchased the album.
