Hello, this is Kim Kibum.
First of all, I’m very sorry for having to meet everyone for this news.

Q: What is the current situation?
A: My contract with my former agency has been cancelled. Around February, the agency told me that they would like to do some member replacements, and when I asked if it was me who was to get replaced, they replied yes.

First of all, they said my vocal role in the group was weak. I respected my agency’s opinion and agreed to cancel my contract.

Q: What is the reason behind “Kim Kibum withdrawing” being such a hot topic of discussion?
A: (Laughs) Well, I think there were a lot of areas I lacked in. I think my capability as a singer was lacking.

Q: There is talk that you withdrew to focus on your business?
I don’t know how that rumor came about. Because my activities ended after my contract was cancelled, for about a month I didn’t participate in activities during U-Kiss’ promotions.

To be honest, I didn’t say anything in that time because I didn’t want it to affect the other members. I think that caused the misunderstanding. Our fans were misunderstanding the situation, and were saying things like, “Has he stopped U-Kiss promotions because of his business?” and “If you’re going to put your focus on your business, then just become an entrepreneur”. So I think that misunderstanding came about during that one month.

Q: What is the response from fans?

A: There are a lot of fans who’ve told me to come back, and there are a lot who say it’s not U-Kiss without seven members. I’m apologetic towards the fans because of how this situation came out to be. They believed in me, so I’m hurt that Alexander and I had to withdraw from U-Kiss. I’m a bit disappointed that I didn’t get to stay on my will.

If U-Kiss becomes more successful with member replacements, then I guess I’m fine with that.

Q: What was your brother’s reaction to the situation?
My brother seemed really hurt that we couldn’t go right till the end together and that I ended up getting off the bus halfway through. He said to me, “I wanted you to do well; I don’t know how the situation came to be like this.”

I was okay with it, but my brother got angry (Laughs). But he said that things like this can happen, and told me to always have strength.

I’m planning to push forward with my personal activities, and I’ll work hard to achieve success with my character business.

I’m very sorry that I had to show myself in a situation like this, but I will do my best to show a better image of myself.

FT Island Choi Jong Hun,will be starring on new movie 'My Pet' with Jang Geun Seuk and Kim Haneul !

Kim Haneul and Jang Geun Suk will star in a new film titled, “You are My Pet,” a story about growing up through understanding and caring for one another as pet owner and her pet. The original story was written by the Japanese writer Yayoi Ogawa and was later adapted into a popular TBS drama starring Matsumoto Jun.

FT Island’s Lee Hongki confirmed Kim Hyo Jin’s tweet earlier today that announced the main cast members of the upcoming Korean film that also includes fellow FT Island member Choi Jong Hun.

According to Kim Hyo Jin’s tweet, a press conference for the production will take place on March 3rd at Ibaraki Airport. The filming will begin in May in both Korea and Japan.

[NEWS] Super Junior K.R.Y. Melts Women's Hearts

“Super Junior has the image of being funny, but I think the image of us being singers is important as well.”

Group Super Junior-K.R.Y. (Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, Yesung) held their first solo concert on February 13th and mesmerized the fans with their singing abilities.

K.R.Y. stood in front 1200 fans at Woori Finance Art Hall at Seoul Olympic Park. K.R.Y. is a unit composed of Kyuhyun, Ryeowook and Yesung. The group’s forte is singing ballads with their superb singing abilities. To emphasize their strong point, they chose to hold the concert at a musical theater hall. In April 2007, Super Junior was involved a car accident when the van that the members rode on rolled over leaving Kyuhyun in a critical condition. In August of 2006, Heechul was in a car accident when he was on his way back from visiting the funeral of Donghae's father. Heechul had hip and ankle fractures and was hospitalized for 12 weeks. He received a surgery to put 7 metal pins in his left leg.

Heechul said, "because of the aftereffect of the accident I had before, I can't go to sleep in the car and I can't bend my legs well. I'm not going to happy complain about how I want to have a private life. But I don't want to risk my life to receive love."

On February 1st, Super Junior’s Lee Teuk guested on SBS’s “Strong Heart” and revealed the secrets behind how each member is positioned.

[NEWS] B2ST Maknae Dongwoon was accepted in Konkuk University

Earlier, we announced that B2ST’s maknae Son Dongwoon was accepted in Konkuk University as an image and film major. Now it’s been revealed that he’ll be joined by actor Lee Jong Suk (22), who is also aiming for a film degree.

According to Lee Jong Suk’s agency on the 31st, he took his qualification exams back in November and received news of his acceptance. Despite the tough competition for the department, he was able to surpass others during the regular application period.

A representative of the agency said, “Lee Jong Suk who has a passion for acting like no other, has prepared himself through his activities. He’ll take intense film-related courses.”

It was also revealed by his ageny that the star has been receiving endless phone calls of congratulations for his acceptance into Konkuk University since the news went public.
