Super Junior is coming back with their 4jib album. Super Junior will release the 4th album on the 13th.
Last year Super Junior sold 250,000 albums with their “Sorry Sorry” syndrome when they made their comeback in a year and a half. They were the king of the album sales, and not just Korea, but topped all Asia’s charts with “sorry sorry” syndrome.
To add on, “Sorry Sorry” was Asia’s Most Famous Song by Thailand’s Channel V, along with being on top for 34 weeks in Taiwan’s online music site ezpeer, making new records all over the Asia. Their Second Asia Tour “SuperShow2” was held starting in Seoul, BeiJing, ShangHai, HongKong, BangKok, TaiPei, NanJing, Kuala Lampur, Manila, and others in total of 9 cities in 15 shows with 200,000 audiences. They showed the ticket power as Asia’s super star.
Super Junior, who has topped 2009 in Asia like this, is showing a new determination to bring a new style of music and performance through 4jib, once again topping Asia in 2010.
Also in this album, except for KangIn, who is planning to go to army, Kibum, focusing on acting career, and HanGeng, currently in law suit, in total of 10 members will be part of 4jib, and the album activities will be around 10 members only.
Super Junior said “We felt pressured after 3jib’s big success, but as the time to reveal came near we got more confident. Please look forward to the new stage of Super Junior’s music and performance.” They also added “as KangIn is preparing for army, we hope that he has a good army life. Also for KiBum, we hope that he becomes better actor as he’s focusing on his acting. For HanGeng, we can’t even get in contact with him, so it’s really sad. Hope he comes back as soon as possible to be with us.” They showed their feelings about members who couldn’t participate with the new album.
